Kristin's first night with intense chemo went well. She received vincristine, dexamethasone, daunorubicin. This was mostly given introvenously and took six hours to administer. Relatively speaking, the night went by peacefully. I enjoyed hearing her talk softly in her sleep. She whispered apologies of I'm sorry and it's okay......so sweet. We do not have labs back from this morning and are anxiously awaiting them. This is very much a numbers game.
A big thank you to you all. Your kindness, concerns, and prayers mean more than you know. Please keep them coming. May God bless us all and keep us safe.

I am so happy to hear that things are going smooth...
If there is anything at all that you need me or my family to do just let us know.
Give me a call if you need us to take care of the house, animals, anything...
Our prayers are with you.
Love,
Tami Rampton
Glad to hear that everything is going well.
Everyone is missing Kristin and her smile.
She has great friends and they love her a lot, which she probably knows.
everyone is thinking of her at school.
I just pray for a miracle that it will be shorter than two years...
Like my mom said if there is anything that we can do let us know....
Sincerely,
Andy Rampton
I can't tell you how Layne's thoughts have been with Kristen these last few days. She misses her smile and presence but also knows she is spreading it around to new places now... what an example she will be there. She's probably a fun roomate.... are you getting some sleep?
Speaking of you, I used to work on a similar floor at Children's in Cincinnati and know just a little about what you are going through. Layne and I would love to come visit at some point when it's a good time.
Please know you all are being prayed for by more people that you'll ever know.....
Lots of Love,
Layne and Laura Babbitt
I just found out last night about Kristin from Mom. Since I do not have a phone and only periodic internet access. I thought this would be the best place to touch base with you.
My heart goes out to her and all of you during these most challenging of circumstances. I know you all have the faith and strength to make it through.
All My Love, My Best and Merry Christmas,
Phil

Got a call from my Uncle Mark Taylor (Merrili's dad) to inform me about your situation because he thought I could help. I was diagnosed with ALL July '06 and am still being treated. I would love to answer questions, or give advice if you would like. I know exactly what your going through, and know that sometimes it helps to speak to somebody who understands. I don't want to overstep my bounds, so just let me know. My email address is kholmes@redlands.com which is the easiest way to reach me. I tried to email Kristin before, but might have gone to the wrong place. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Please let me know if I can help.
